Odalis Pérez was a Dominican personality who used to play baseball as a starting pitcher by profession. He was the consistent baseball player who had a remarkable beginning with the Atlanta Braves (1998–2001). Despite this, he has also worked with other national teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers (2002–2006), the Kansas City Royals (2006–2007), and the Washington Nationals (2008). He was the former MLB pitcher who was reported to have died on 10th March 0222, Thursday. The cause of his death is reported to be his fall from the ladder when he was all alone in the house. His brother discovered him while lying down on the floor and a ladder next to him. He was 43 at the time of his demise.

Odalis Perez, in full, Odalis Amadol Pérez was born on 11th June 1977 and was a graduate student of 1995 of Damian David Ortiz High School, who received his primary education in his homeland. His father’s name is Miguel Perez while Viterba is his mother and he also has two siblings, Roberto and Carlos Perez.
Odalis Pérez Career
He began his profession as an MLB pitcher with the Braves in September 1998 after he went 0-1. He won the game for the Braves in the postseason of 1998 and by this, he became the first pitcher in MLB history who received the playoff win without having won any regular season. Later on 15th January 2022, Perez was traded by the Braves to Dodgers where he played two years starting from the season 2002-2003, he won at least 27 games with 15 in 2002 and 12 in 2003. With this, he became the third most prominent winner in the category of left-hand pitchers in the National League.
Perez was the first Dodger who was left-handed and registered himself with at least 12 games in the winning streak in the consecutive seasons. During the same period, he had the sixth-most strikeouts among all the major lefties in the National League. On 25th July 2006, Perez and two other minor league pitchers were traded to Kansas City Royals, where the cash considerations were already sent to the pitchers. Perez signed the minor league contract with Washington Nationals and was subsequently invited for the spring training, where Perez agreed to the minor league contract before the 2009 season. But, Perez had second thoughts and did not report to the training, subsequently, he was released from the team.

Odalis was married to the only woman in his life Evelina Garcia, with whom he maintained an official relationship and married back in 2008 but shortly after they divorced each other. Evelina was popular in herself at that time. She was a television presenter and a model. The couple faced many issues during their marriage and eventually broke up.
