She later became widely recognized for starring in “Windy City Rehab,” a show that follows her as she renovates and restores old homes in Chicago. Aside from television, she also runs her own businesses, including a line of luxury furniture and lifestyle products. Alison is admired for her bold designs, blending modern style with historic charm.
Early Life
A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was born on 31st October 1981 to her mother Becky Karacostas, and her father, Jim Gramenos. She was raised in Chicago with her other three siblings, Jamie Grameno, Nicholas James Gramenos, and Diana Gramenos, who is one of the top Social Security Disability Lawyers.
From a very young age, Alison has always been creative; she wanted to pursue design, as she had a huge interest in fashion. After completing her schooling, she went to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada to become a successful interior designer.
Alison Victoria’s Career
Alison Victoria was highly inspired by her father for getting her into home renovation. She completed her education at the University of Nevada, and after graduating, she started working at Christopher Homes, where she was one of the youngest designers. Over the years she has made quite the name for herself as a famous interior designer.
Two years after graduation, she launched her own design firm known as Alison Victoria Interiors, which was located in two cities, Chicago and Las Vegas. Later Alison also launched her own brand of luxury furniture known as the Alison Victoria Collection. She has been creating and been various parts of projects in the making of luxurious resorts, boutiques, and residences.
Designer Journey
Alison Victoria was a ghost designer at the Crashers franchise, including House Crashers, Bath Crashers, Room Crashers, and Yard Crashers. She found the other line of Kitchen Crashers, where she became the first female host for the franchise and worked alongside other hosts Jasmine Roth, Mina Starsiak and Leanne Ford.
Alison was also a star in the HGTV show Windy City Rehab, where she was seen with Donovan Eckhardt. They used to purchase, renovate and sell houses in Chicago. However, in season 2, Alison cut ties with Donovan and even filed a lawsuit against him, as he was withdrawing money from their business and adding to his own personal business.
Apart from this, the show also has other lawsuits on charges like incomplete work, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and so on. In 2011 she was awarded the Rising Stars of Business award by the Las Vegas Business Press. Alison appeared in six episodes of DIY Insider and also appeared on HGTV’s Rock the Block, where stars used to face off against one another to complete the project and bag a cash prize.
Alison Victoria is set to debut her new HGTV series Sin City Rehab on September 17, 2025. The show takes her back to her Las Vegas roots, where she focuses on restoring older homes with rich history rather than the city’s famous flashy Strip properties. Each project highlights her effort to preserve character while adding her signature modern style.
Viewers will see her face real challenges, from dealing with contractors to balancing design choices within historic constraints. The series also marks a fresh chapter in her career, giving fans a chance to watch her reshape her business and creative vision in the city where she first began her design journey.
