Sophia Mitri Schloss was born on December 15, 2002, in Seattle. Her mother, Irene Mitri is a violinist and a teacher while her father is Andrew Schloss, an electronic music professor. She is an only child. Her parents are incredibly supportive. She attended Evergreen school and is now attending Seattle Academy, majoring in arts and science. She is also a member of the singing group. Juggling school and acting have been a challenge for her.

She started acting at the age of 3 and later performing in her school theatre. After performing in local student films she got her agent at age 7, Trice Koopman. In 2010, she made her debut with the role of Emily in ‘The Match Girl. The same year she also appeared in the video game ‘Mystery Case Files: The 13th Skull’ as Magnolia Lawson. In 2011, she starred in the TV series ‘Grimm’ as Robin Howell. Later she played the role of Young Tess in ‘I am Zozo’. She also made an appearance in the film “Ira Finkelstein’s Christmas”.
In 2012, she had her first major role, when she starred as the lead Isabel Lorenz in the movie ‘Isabel’. After that in 2014, she came back with another spectacular role in ‘Desert Cathedral’ as Samantha Collins. In 2015, she played the role of Jamie in the TV series ‘The Librarians’. Her next TV series was ‘The Kicks’ and she played the role of Emma Gelbaum. In 2017, she starred in the TV series ‘Portlandia’ as Stella. The same year she had another major role when she played the role of Lane, the lead in ‘Lane 1974’. And after that, her next appearance was also as the lead in the movie ‘Sadie’ in 2018.
